Beige: Frequency of Sound – The pulse that pulls you in. The harmony that keeps you there. Have you ever noticed…
Have you ever noticed the things that pull you in? Mark it next time in your mind and take note of what’s happening to your body, your spirit-identify it… sound weird? Maybe, until you notice patterns, pick up on signals, things that create vibes and change moods. Almost like cause and effect but it’s so interesting to me… and if you now want to categorize me into hippy land, that’s fine with me. I’ll be over here guarding my peace and choosing joy… but honestly that sounds so cliche, doesn’t it? Even maybe New Age, but it’s not, and I’d love for you to experience a taste of things we were made for; nourishment, callings, gifts, layers, things that shift atmospheres.
Recently, I was listening to this song Sunkissed and Salted by Beige and for the first time, I became aware of a feeling I deeply love. I was surprised to experience it through music. I was there with the rhythm, the emotion, the essence, the fullness of it all. It started to make me think about frequency because I’ve experienced that feeling before—during certain moments, sometimes involuntarily. That hum. The steady peace. That elevated emotional embrace of freedom. It was then that I realized the power of intention, presence, tone, and emotion, and it made me a little more curious.
This man was born to sing, to create, to gather, to unite, to make people feel free in their own skin with harmony and melody. The details in his ability to master music are unmatched, and I’m glad he finally said yes to letting the rest of the world hear it. Now, I’m not going to put this person in a box because his creativity isn’t confined to one genre. I guess you’ll just have to see it unfold yourself.
I mentioned my experience to him. He replied, “I wanted it to feel like the listener was at the ocean.” I agree. I finally put my finger on it. The feeling that makes your heart sing and quietly draws you in. Sunkissed and Salted
It’s something that stays with you. The melody lingers long after the music stops. I promise. I’m not quite sure how he did it. BEIGE.
We all have gifts, and what if they were all measured in the fullness of what God intended? What a powerful force that would be to experience if everyone walked that kind of line… You know, the line less taken that requires obedience, sacrifice, dying to self, and fully cultivating what God gave you. Isn’t that what we all strive for anyway? We spend our time searching for our cups to be filled with temporary gain, only to come back to fill them again. We were created with a destiny in mind, an intentional mark on your life, used for good.
Romans 8:28: And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.
But most of the time we fall to our own devices and skip the hard part. We have a choice of what we do with our gifts, and honestly they’re most powerful at the level God intended. That’s the lie we believe: it won’t be as good. But I can tell you, friends, at no time has it proved otherwise.
Ask someone what they see in you. Ask what they think you’re good at. You might be surprised when they answer with a detailed list of amazing things. And that’s just the surface. When you walk in that authority of a God-given gift, it reveals what was always meant to be brought into the light. Sometimes it needs to be fine-tuned. Sometimes we learn how to use it well. And sometimes we simply need to believe it’s already true. The choice is yours.
